Hey guys , just recently picked up an 024AV super. It currently has a .325 spur clutch sprocket. It’s a bit worn so I’m looking at ordering a new one. Just wondering what everyone’s opinions are on the rim sprockets compared to the spur sprocket. Am I better off sticking with the spur ? Thanks in advance

Perfect thanks guys . I might go ahead and try the rim sprocket , never used one on a saw before. The sprocket that’s on it now is not overly worn but I have no true idea if it is a 3/8 or .325. Everyone says .325 but there are no markings on it and I need a new bar and chain so might as well grab a new sprocket

Measure three chain rivets center to center and divide by two - that will give you the pitch of the sprocket and the bar nose. All have to match.
