Rim sprockets for 090???

Hello guy´s! is there any rim sprocket system for the 090? or is there only the spur sprockets for it? i have seen rim sprockets for the 070 but not for the 090!! gb made 3/8 spur sprockets for the 090!! but is 3/8 really to recommend on a 090?

The only sprocket from Sthl is spur,in 1/2 inch or 404

my GB catalog lists a .404 and a 1/2" spur, Herr catalog lists .404 and 1/2" spur.

Yes the 090 had a rim system but it is NLA from Stihl. They are still some floating around. I have to keep mine.

I have a rim on my 090. Was on it when I got it. I thought about going 3/8, (and retip the bar), but consiering the danger of chain breakage, I feel better with the .404.
You would get a slightly thinner kerf, but I doubt it would add up to another board out of a log. Could be wrong tho, maybe I'll do a thread.

Hello swekipp! no i´m not going there on saturday! i will be away for the weekend! i guess you thinking about "champs of logging" championships!!? well it could have been fun to watch....even if i think it is a "husky game" haha!.......maybe i should go there with my 090 and show them what a real chainsaw is all about!!! i don´t think many here in sweden have even seen a 090!! or heard one!! are you going there? if you do...tell me if it was any fun!!
