I am newer to tree climbing and trying to learn some knots I am looking for a good slip knot cause I have notice that the traditional slip knot can come on done what kind of knot do you use when attach your rigging rope to a branch
 
He had used a traditional slip knot he was real old school and had a lot of accidents thanks thou I was thinking bowline and will check out the timber hitch

Traditional slip knots synch tight on itself, sometimes making it hard to untie. A running bowline gives the security of a slip knot but like a bowline is easy to untie.
