HI all.
I have a question. When you are climbing and have the possibility or trimming and removing/topping tree, what equipment is clipped to your saddle?
I have 2 little straps, a small petzl pulley, and a few carabiners.
I'm looking for advice on gear that makes my job easier, safer, faster.
Thank you!

To start with, a chain saw. At least one lanyard. A Caritool with a few biners and an extra eye to eye. A small climbing bag with a fly reel with 80 ft of throwline and a small throwbag, a figure 8, a saw wrench and a carb screwdriver. Sometimes a Silky handsaw if needed. Usually a couple of speedline chokers and biners if I think I'll use them.

Depends on what I am doing...

Always have a silky saw, never just a chainsaw (but frequently only handsaw if I am pruning).
I recently added a little first aid kit with a fee bandaids and gauze pads/med tape.
A few non-life support biners with nylon loop slings on them.
At least 1 life support biner with a loop for redirects.
If I am going to be lowering a lot, I have a webbing with several little loops to hook on about 8 more biners each with a loop. I'll usually pull that up along with the rigging rope once I am already in the tree and ready to use them (same with the chainsaw)
