Am I adjusting my saddle wrong or something ? I get bruises/soreness on my legs in the groin area when I'm hanging in the saddle for an extended amount of time. Maybe I should have gone with the bosum seat instead of leg straps.

i have the petzl navajo. when i first got it, i had the same problem. i just found to leave my leg straps loose and go on...really helped out

If it's the leg pads cut a heavy napped towel large enough to cover the leg pads. Fasten them with tape or nylocks. If that eases the pain take the saddle to an upholstery shop or harness shop if you live around horses. They can make larger leg pads and sew them to the originals. My Butterfly left bruises until I put bigger pads on the legs.

I guess I'm spoiled by the padding on my Buckingham Master Deluxe... I've never had a problem with bruising or soreness.

Buckingham master deluxe. I think my leg straps might be too tight. I'll have time to play with it tomorrow. After more thought it might be pinching me if it was too tight.

I had the same problem when I first started about 8 months ago. I dont climb as regularly as much, but it doesnt bother me anymore. I just compared it to putting callous on your hands from raking/shoveling/working with bare hands, you just build up a comfort to it?

The Master Delux has so many adjustments that you can easily make it comfortable for whatever style of suspension you want. Some like hanging more vertical... Some people like more of a sitting position... tighten or loosen the back-of-leg straps to get the angle you like. I don't tighten my leg straps much. They are tight enough to add some support, but not tight enough to be a primary suspension point.

I'm good to go

Played around with it today and I'm all set. I loosened the legs straps a bit, slid the pads around further and clipped into different spots until I found the sweet spot.
