I am about to purchase a new saddle. I have always used leg strap styles but am considering a butt strap model. Anyone have any suggestions?

The butt strap (or boson seat) is good, but if you're used to leg straps, you'll probably find it very limiting in range of motion. I still have one that I use very occasionally. I like it for trees where I'm going to be doing some major cabling or aerial inspections and stuff. Where I know I'll be sitting in the saddle for some time. Like I said, I hardly use it anymore, and won't buy another one. That just my opinion, hope it helps.

Good info.

Thanks for the feedback. This makes me think that I may stay with leg straps.

If you do a search you will find a lot of information on here about saddles.
I just ordered a Cougar (with the seat) a few days ago. These guys were very helpful in helping me with this decision.
