I have found some of these rock teeth on ebay...i dont know much about them. Can someone fill me in? The ad had a picture but not a very clear one. does anyone have ictures of these? Does anyone know where on the wheel you install it and how they actually work? Thank you.

When I was running Sandvik on my 252 I used two rock teeth 180 degrees apart on pocket that was straight up. Their purpose is to try to shatter a rock so that the other teeth can clear out the pieces. The tooth has a larger than normal piece of carbide for toughness that is peaked a little on the face, at least they were a couple years ago.

Call Dave at New River Equipment, he'll answer all your Sandvik questions.

Ok thanks for the info, i'll order a few up and give them a shot. I am still a little unsure on where to mount them on the wheel but i will figure it out and let everyone know what i think.
