I was cutting some red oak with my bandsaw mill and noticed the dustport clogging up and filling up the inside cover to the point of choking down the motor a little. The log was about 24" across where I was milling at the time. This was the first time it has done that. I had put a new blade on before beginning. Could I be feeding to fast or could this be from moisture in the wood or something else? It only did this while milling wide planks a couple of times.

Well, if their's a screen or anything blocking the hole the sawdust comes out of, cut it out of there. That's the first thing that i do, and i have no problems at all.
