Saw identity

[Fish]

Have this saw on Ebay, a bidder tells me its not a Mc 55. I tell him to go
to Mike's site and look at the models. He says it is a 10-10. What do you all
think?

Does look more like an early 10-10, like the super 10-10 or 10-10E, with the recoil on the right.

It looks like the air filter cover says Pro Mac 55. Mike's site lists some saw
models with series or assembly numbers. Are they readable on your saw?

Looks like a 55 to me.The early right hand start 10-10 s had a black cover.Would have sent a picture,but can't find a cover in all the junk. What's the numbers on the serial plate?Then again,it's your saw,what do you call it.

I guess the 55 does look similar. I was looking at an earlier 55, and it looks nothing like your picture.

I call it edmond! Like I said, I doubt a sinister plot to swap model numbers for these saws is in place, but I may be wrong. I was rabbit hunting on that grassy knull, when
those guys in suits got ugly..........

Late 60's early 70's.Check out Buck "s on Mike acres site .I got one,just like it,but a tad on the rough side.

My expriancses with mac's is limeted....
My mony is That Edmond belongs to the 55 famely.
Have you got someone to talk you throu thease bad times, Now that Edmond is leaving, and the guy's....

Its a Mac 55 fellas sure looks pretty and at least it's not orange and white or just plain old orange.
