Sc252 grinder not charging battery...

My sc252 is operating as it should.... But it's not charging the battery from the stator. I've found no fuses??? Under the hood. My mowers have a charging fuse. Is there a fuse block I'm over looking?

If its the kohler motor, they are reknown for the magnets letting go of there adhesion around the stator and failling to charge.

I had it happen and so did my friend , I managed to glue them back even one that was cracked in half. There is a certain order they go in according to their polarity. Watch the video below and don't underestimate that guy.

Good find @lone wolf. I’ve seen that guy too. He’s no fool for sure. Been waiting for someone to reply the this thread just for my own knowledge, I had forgotten about this magnet issue we have.

Thanks for responses,. Wasn't my magnets unfortunately, they are all still attached. I Think stator is on its way out. Appreciate the help.

Have you tested the rectifier/regulator like he does in the video.
AC input, regulated DC output.
Isolate the stator and measure its output w/o regulator???

Good advise that Mower Medic gives is to FIRST check GROUND connections and power connections for corrosion

Yes I have, even swapped with a known good one. Only getting 21 volts ac from the stator plug. Thats gotta be my problem.
