Hi all,

Just got myself a vermeer sc252 stump grinder that needed some new teeth and stupidly took off all the old ones and forgot the pattern on the wheel. I'm new to stump grinding and the manuals are on order but id really like to get the new teeth on there so I can start using it. Does anyone have a diagram of the standard tooth config on the cutter wheel? Or just a pic of one set up correctly would be great. Please help!

Cheers,

Josh

Yeah they arnt that common over here in the UK so no rental machines to have a look at anyone know who to ring/email at vermeer?

We used to have a 352 with standard teeth. I assume you are asking about pattern of bent vs straight teeth. We would often break teeth in the field on rocks. We would replace them with whatever sharp ones we had on hand. Didn't really notice any difference in cutting ability. If we had too we would have a bent/straight combo, two straights, two bents or two bents going the same way. As long as the wheel was weight balanced.

If you look at this Vermeer video at 8:09 you will see the wheel stopped with the tooth pattern.
