Hello all, I recently bought a used sc602 grinder and it is supposed to have an auto sweep on it but can't find anything on where it is and how to use. I have stalled it many times and the side swing is so fast i have to take 1/2 inch bites. Any help would be great. Thanks Barry

It is an electronic "brain box" that monitors engine RPM and slows the swing down via a hydraulic dump valve. A lot of people disconnect the wires going to the dump valve to disable the system.

On the track machines there was a micro switch that rode against the clutch linkage and activated the system when the head was engaged - this is another area where users would disable the system.

The reason they disable it is that it can make grinding pretty slow, you might be better off running sharp teeth and getting used to feathering the head in.

A lot of guys refer to it as "auto sleep"
