Searching for chipper winch system

I recently purchased a Vermeer BC1400 without a winch system. I would like to add a winch to this machine. I'd like to know if there are any companies that make an aftermarket winch system? Vermeer dealer quoted me one, but was way to much $. Any leads would be appreciated.

If you can weld / fabricate, you could make one. You can buy a hydraulic winch for around $1000-$1500. The problem you might run into is if you dont already have a valve for the winch. If you have to buy a multibank valve its gonna cost you some $. If you already have one, its just a matter of hoses, and that isnt that expensive.
