We have a beautiful, giant walnut that is going to taken by Finley River because of the construction of a new bridge. The main trunk is 9-10 feet around and larger where 6-7 large branches start in what looks like a burl. We would like to have a piece from that section for a mantle. We love the tree but the creek is sure to take it-soon.
We have a few other trees and don't really want to sell any but would consider it if someone would require it.
Is there anyone out there that might know of someone capable and willing to save our tree?
