Send off for porting…just piston and cylinder?

Can I just send off my piston and cylinder or must I send the whole saw?

That's a question you would have to ask the person that's doing the work.

I’d think the whole saw as they need timing numbers and seems each one is a bit unique in that department.

I too wonder if I can send the piston and cylinder or cylinder only to a pro for a mild port job. What about if I provide the squish?
