New member here but I've been playing with saws for some time. Current lineup includes a 021, ms260 pro, and mint 038 magnum. Previously had 362c-m and 028 as well. I cut fire wood for myself or friends and recently purchased a knock off Alaskan CSM to play with. My buddy straight gassed his 084 and is not mechanically inclined so had me learn to work on saws and rebuild it, that is a fun saw to use. The 084 and the 028 sent me down a rabbit hole of trying to find every saw and build it, but prices are crazy these days. I have all the saws I "need" for a long time if not my life, but where is the fun in that.

Great reading and learning from all of the knowledgeable people on this site, thank you.

Attached is a pic of the 084 with a 36" bar and the 038M with a 32" (bars upside down). About the same useable bar but the 084 pulls stronger.
