Sharpening guide,Old Homelite

Along with a shed full of old saws,I also have a collection of saw related printed matter.I came across this sharpening guide today,and thought it interesting.This was in a box of 1/2"Homelite branded chain,that looks like Carlton,in design.

I ran across a similar sheet in some nos 3/8 homelite chain. The note about halfway down the page is noteworthy - Overheated chain - so hot that you cannot hold with your fingers while counting to 20 - should be allowed to cool before tensioning.
