Till now, I've been using my ms260 or 242 and Corona head for pruning. Today I had a large enough pruning job I decided to buy Felco pruning shears and a Zubat 330 - NICE. Spent the day in the sun sawin' and snipin' away in peace. Landed another 2 day job doing the same thing, now I'm looking forward to it.

Hadn't seen "shears" before from Felco, and when I looked it up, apparently they call their hand pruners "shears" too.

I have 2 pair of Corona Felco hand pruners that I've had since 1985 and I think 1988.

Both work great. Continuous use in business since then.

Yes they are hand pruners, the box said "shears" and as I usually use my power pruner or chainsaw for everything, I'm just parroting what I read.

If you look in the ISA Glossary you will see hand pruners called shears also. Not common usage, but since the makers call them that, there you go.

I Love fine pruning jobs. Keep that stinkin chainsaw on the ground all I can.

Interesting that you say that.

I do many cuts by hand that I could have used a chainsaw on. It may also be that I like the quiet, as well as the clean cut.
