Blew a tire on my 1625 grinding some stumps in a yard over the weekend. Tire must have had a leak and lost enough air to separate from the rim. Can of fix a flat did not work to get rim sealed while it was on the machine. Had to remove wheel and go to tire shop to reseal it. Anyone use slime stuff on tv to fill the tires on machine? Any other suggestions? Tires are tubeless type.
Fortunate to have a tire shop 5 blocks from that job but next time ????

We just had two front tractor tires filled with rubber. I wanted to fill the rears also but the guy said the weight would be too much for the tractor. He was right the fronts tires weigh a ton now. I would hate to see what the rears would be like. At least we not have any more flats.

Friend of mine who has ground stumps for over 40 years had his tractor and grinder wheels filled with foam I believe. He was tired of running over curbs and popping off tires and getting locust thorns in his tires. He swears by the process but his equipment was a little heavier as a result.

This is actually only my first in VA. Had one in NY years ago but carried a spare on old vermeer 630. Hope it will be my last cause it was a royal PITA. lucky to have tire shop 5 blocks away or would have been nightmare.
