small splitter warning

I love my new 6 ton splitter but here's a warning if you have kids or pets that follow you around where ever you go.I have seen 9 inch bone dry lodgepole pine rounds split with enough force to throw them in front of the splitter and slightly to the side also,8 ft from operator ...at a velocity that could literally kill a 3 year old if those split half hit them in the head.It was shocking.About one in 30 splits do this to some extent.
Watch out.Same warning for little dogs that are so common these days.
