Shop stove is bad about smoking up the place when the door is opened. Takes a few mins to load the stove since it'll fit 2 heaping wheelbarrows of wood (about 4ftx6ft)

I came up with this to go over the door. Have a 6" blower fan, like 750cfm, to like in and it'll vent outside.

I'll put pics when I set it up. I need to finish putting a forklift together so we can move it out of the way and move the stove first though. Going to rearrange the shop a bit so it'll fit the crewcab 12ft bed service trucks.20181021_232057.jpg 20181021_232033.jpg

Had the local sheet metal shop make it. I gave Mike a napkin "blueprint" and he had it done 2 days later.

I'll just weld some angle iron on the stove and bolt the hood to it.

Makes sense to me, flip a switch before you go to load it, kill the switch once the door is closed. Vent it into an old Weber charcoal grill and you can just leave the door open to smoke meats! Might want a variable speed fan at that point though..
