I have a Shrader insert stove that i'm putting into a workshop and on the back of the stove the smoke outlet is rectangler in shape, is there an adapter that i can go from rectanguler to round to hook up a chimney??

friend of mine got a Harmon fireplace insert with the oval outlet.what we did was use a section of well casing and welded it to the top of the stove, and used a adapter on top of it.works great for him.

What are the outside dimensions of the stove outlet ?

If the perimeter of the outlet is 18.845" , or very close to it , a 6" round flue pipe can be squeezed over it.
If the perimeter is 25.1328" or close an 8" pipe will fit this.

It's i say about 12-14 across and about 3-4 inches deep in rectangular

,,think i'll just bring out my MC cutting torch and make a circular hole in the top of the stove,,mig weld a round sleeve for the chimney on top of that hole,,lightly tack weld off the rectangular opening with a cover plate on the backside of the stove.
