Snap cut

I'm not sure exactly what it is, but the little I know about it tells me not to do it.
It is a brand of cheap a$$ polesaw blade or in the ASPR,
"aka Mismatch cut - To make the cut, start cutting slightly more than halfway through a section from the side. Then cut from opposite side but several inches offset from 1st cut. 2 cuts will bypass, but fibers should hold if sound. Then, shut off the saw, and break piece off manually."
