On that TD at the federal cemetary, along about my second cut, the gas cap (old style) came off and drenched my leg from the calf down. Great. That's what happens when I let them service the saw.
My spur pads soaked most of it up, but there was plenty left to cause a mild discomfort . Usually, I would shut it down and go change my jeans. But there was too much going on with cranes/crew labor to do that. I called for my Gatoraid and drank half, then poured the rest on my burning calf to dilute the gas. It worked great!

So who loves that as much as me???

Really fun when the oil cap comes off in the bucket after truck has been serviced and the nice chip cushion on the bottom has been dumped out.

I had that happen to me once on the ground i just took it from guys after they fueled it up walked away fired it up and went to cut a limb off a tree I was going to be removing when the gas cap came off. I threw that saw at them from where I stood about 30 yards and ask that they fill it up again and tighten the cap. The details in the ground mans job isn't difficult. If they could just get a few things right. No excuse for that. Sorry Butch.

A week ago Monday first thing in the morning, the new ms200 oil cap tripped up a new groundie. Got my leg and the tree trunk, better that than the lifeline. It was soon forgotten, until reading this thread, though. Got to speedline maple branches to the neighboring drycleaners roof:cool:.
