I made some money with the Bagels. Never as much as I had hoped, but enough. Now I am expanding to a new product, one that is more universal at school sporting events, bake sales, county fairs, etc.
The Soft Sourdough Pretzel
These are real real basic. Recipe is the same as the Plain Bagel. I make these to my taste only, so far, and after a 60sec boil, they soak face down in olive oil, and get sprinkled with coarse salt, and then baked on a salted sheet of Parchment Paper. If I may say so, these are darn good. I have taken to having a pretzel rather then eat anything for lunch. Just take them out of the freezer and microwave them for 45 seconds and they are perfect.
