I need to take down a tree sometime in the future and will be in a boom truck and would like to find a clean used top handle saw for this task. Can be pho. Doesn't need to be a pro saw. Opened to brand as long and I can use the same chains from my stihl kombi system with 12" bar. I had to pass up a great deal this spring (thanks Uncle Sam) but I'm looking again. Please send pictures via convo

In a bucket i'd just use a small rear handle my 550xp and 562xp see a lot of bucket work.

Unless you specifically NEED a top handle i would second the above advice and just use a low weight rear handle. I don't use any of my top handles for anything other than climbing really.

I'm going to be in a 30m bucket truck for 2 days straight doing a heap of big dangerous Eucalyptus later this week and there will not be a top handle in sight.

With the situation I have a top handle is going to be needed. There are many branches over stuff that need to be cut short and thrown out of harms way. If this wasn't the case I would just use my 2153 but a top handle will make things much safer. Plus it helps cure cad when I get to buy another saw with the wife's approval.

I have an 015L, orange, you're welcome to borrow/buy. e-mail me. you still have my address?
