Very nice 254 SE (with an XP decal). No issues. I replaced the piston with a Meteor over the winter and it has an OEM jug. Muffler has been opened and it sounds great. Compression is 150.

Bar is a near new 18" NK with a loop of semi chisel.

Only reason I am considering selling is that I have a 154 SE which I plan to keep....... unless someone were interested in it instead (it's the last picture).

I'd like to get $250 plus shipping or trade towards some other PRO GRADE saw.

Thanks,

Bryan

I appreciate the offer and if I didn't already have a 254 I might jump at the opportunity. If you had a 234se or 272xp project saw I would definitely be interested. For me, the fun is in the restoration. My long term goal is to do at least one of all of the professional 2xx series saws.

You might as well start gathering 288 parts then...

A good old saw they were/are,I had one in '92 then got the new 262 that year and a 266 walkerized for thinning and falling of snags on the block. the next walkerized was a 266 with the 52mm 272 head. that was a bad azz saw!!!
