Solo 681

Anyone running this saw compared to a 460? Kinda wondering how good they are?

I would suspect the solo will out cut the 460. I've ran many 046- 460's but never a solo 681. The 7900 will out cut a stock 046, so a 681 which has a 1mm longer stroke it should really kick butt.

681 is a nice saw, but the AV is a little spongy for my liking. Stock it should outcut a 460. Mine has been modified so it's not a fair comparison.
Now, with all that said. It can't walk on water, and it won't cure cancer as some have claimed the 361 is capable of. It's just a saw.

Andy here's a cousin to your woodsport 681 and its on dolmar mounts so shes not so spongy........

Looks like someone is going to get a heck of a deal there. Looks like it runs pretty close to mine in the video.
I heard that the Dolmar mounts would fit. When things pick up in the spring (I hope), I'll get you to price me some mount's, and one of those fancy new style top cover's for my 7900.

thanks for the info,looking for something a little cheaper than a 800+ Stihl. Just dont want to go backwards to like a Husky.
