Amoungst My Saws........Fool That Has Too Many!!!
I had the real chance to run the Solo 694 ( that I purchased from Jeff Sikkema) today. When I had it out with my Dolmar PP7900 a few weeks ago, the Dolmar PP7900 seemed alot more ballsy than the 694. Since then I relieved the muffler of it's baffles. It is a wonder the saw ran at all. The muffler had a square tube with about 20 3/16 holes and a small slot too. I cut the whole front and bottom out of this baffle and added another port about 5/8" big. This really woke the saw up. Feels alot like an 066.

its a good evaluation, rich. the kinda stuff we need,to make good purchase decisions... like to see more of this type post... even if its bashing,,as long as its educated, evaluative bashing.

post some pictures

Hey Rich
I'd like to see what you did to that muffler. I have a 694 Solo and would certainly like to open it up too.

My Walkerized 346xp will whomp your 694! You add your 7900 head to a double ended bar with your 694 and it might be worth my trouble to bring out my G357xp. :D

Somewhere thereabouts Huskyman, but it`s not "Air Injected". I`m gonna mush him with my rebadged turbo and he knows it.

I intercepted some of his IMs where he was trash talking me and now he`s got to put his money where his mouth is. :D

Rich

Jokers is just jerking your chain...

I'm working on the double ender Solo 694 and you and me can hang onto that while Jokers runs his Walkers346 while blind folded and with one arm tied behind his back.

Solo 694 = Dolmar 9010

Is the same saw as the Dolmar PS9010 and so when Rich is comparing the two saws he is really comparing the two Dolmars (although the 9010 he has a Solo name on it)

This might clear it up a little ??
