Do you need parts or saws? You should be able to get either from Ace Hardware. They probably don't know it but any Ace can get stuff directly from Solo with one phone call. Depending on the store owners greed they generally can give you a good price on saws. Some might even have homeowner models in stock. It took 5days for my 694 to get to the store direct from Solo.

As far as I knew the Ace's around here just stocked wildthings and wood sharks.I am/is comptaplating about picking up the whole line of saws.(MAYBE?)I also have questions about what Solo plans to do in 07.I don't know if the 694 will pass the 2007 EPA requirements.I believe Dolmar is putting out a new 9000 series saw in the future to replace the 9010(694).Seth

Ace keeps the 650 and 636 in thier wharehouses but has an account with Solo, so dealers can order what they need, use Ace's buying power to get a good price on saws Ace pays Solo and the individual pays Ace's cost plus 2%. It's a pretty sweet system. I would get a 694 before soon before the epa changes take effect. It would be a shame if the just dropped the 90cc models alltogether like they did with the 667.

I hope they don't drop the larger cc saws.Maybe Terry(dolmar tech manager)could fill us in if Dolmar and Solo are going to continue the connections.

Did you get any knew saws? Some 694's on ebay right now. What size are you looking for? I'm thinking about the refurbushed 667's for myself. Price isn't that great though. I am looking for used 667's and 662's to bridge the gap between the 50cc and 90cc saws I have.
