Has anyone here had experience with Solo saws? I see that Bailey's has a Model 645 that is 90cc's. I am thinking on getting a large saw to use for milling only. I have a 2171 Jonsred that I use for day to day cutting.

I've wondered the same thing. In addition to the Solo, sometimes you see a 90cc Makita on ebay. The lesser Solos and Makita/Dolmars seem to be very well made, so you would expect the 90cc to be good, too.

The only thing I would be worried about is parts. Baileys should be able to order Solo parts for you, but I don't know of any other sources.

Solo makes good saws, I have a few. They are well made. The 694 is a rebadged Dolmar 9010.

Parts availability is good, but local dealer support is not. You can buy parts direct from Solo by phone or on their website www.solousa.com I have been able to get parts for saws that haven't been made for 20 years.
