I like your old Titan,.. Chris. Does it need much to make a runner out of it?
I have a Titan 200 and a Sportsman, both runners.

Titan 40...I hate to admit this, but I unpacked it, gave it a quick lookover to see how complete/incomplete it is, & it's been sitting since. Tomorrow I hope to get under the hood a little deeper. It appears to to be mostly complete except for a recoil, I don't remember removing the recoil, wouldn't have had any reason to do so. Later I'll post some additional photos.

The Craftsman 4.5/Homelite 450 shouldn't need much to get running. When I first got it would try to run with some mix poured in the carb. At the time I didn't know it was a Homelite 450; some folks here at AS helped with the ID. The recoil just about yanks my arm out of socket.

Edit--I goofed, it's a Titan 40.

I am in no way an authority on these saws but I think your rear handle/recoil is completely missing along with the muffler. I have torn both of mine down to the last nut/bolt and gasket, the gear reduction is a piece of work also.

I just realized that I have the model # wrong, must've been thinking about the David Bradley.

Tomorrow I'm going to check the garage for the recoil, handle, muffler, etc. Chances are very good the Titan 40 will get parted out.

I've been posting photos to AS, not through a photo hosting site. I have a PhotoBucket account, which has probably been closed due to inactivity. I also read several comments that PB had/has problems with being used to spread computer viruses.

What photo hosting site do you guys recommend?
