Did not view the clip. It is easy to either put a pan under the front of the log, such as an old disc blade, or actually copy old time pans. Another fix is what I call a log doggie. One hooks it tight perpendicular to the long axis then the team swings toward the long axis & the log is loaded onto a bunk just a little higher than the tires, or rims in my case.Then the front is lifted.
Others use a log cart which suspends the front of the log. Carts are no good on ground over 25-30 % unless you hate yourself & your team.
Thing about a cart is it limits turning. I could turm my team around in their tracks on any ground. Most carts have a tongue on them so cannot turn as sharp.
