Wow, that stump was a monster. I don't see any that big down here. What do you charge for a monster stump like that? Just curious.

I hire a guy to come grind stumps once or twice a year. He modified an old bogie skidder with a boom and a rotating drum grinder. Put in a chevy 454. That thing will destroy a 60" live oak stump to 6" under the dirt in about 90 seconds. Sounds like a nascar race doing it too:rock:

He's coming back soon and I will make a video. The sound wont really come through, but its still pretty cool. Used to know a guy with a big boy JD tractor with an oil drum sized grinder off the PTO.

Here it is. Turned these 2 48" pine stumps into a very large pile of chips in 5 minutes
