BTW- I spent three years working with the OP of that thread, mostly on Burnt mountain, and Coos Bay Wagon road in 2002-05. He's a good old boy.

Its hard to believe that those photos were taken here in Douglas County. But it is good to see some of the older history that built this community. Hell, the one photo has one of the Ireland trucks in it. Their still around hauling logs and doing pretty well. Wish my uncles photo's weren't so degraded. I'd like to post the one of him standing at the butt cut of a 9ft pumpkin.
