Requirements are as follows: MUST BE RELIABLE, must have own gear (climbers), must have valid drivers license (sales persons but having a drivers license is a plus for other positions), must be able to work long hours, must have at least 5 years experience (climbers/ground men). Not sure how companies can allow personnel to have their own climbing equipment. Isn't that safety equipment, required to be supplied by the employer? Maybe open to interpretation, although I'd be afraid to have that interpreted by a lawyer after an accident.

We supply all the climber's gear, if they prefer their own, we will inspect it.
I don't know any professional company that requires climber's to have their own gear.
