Hello,

Does anyone know what species of three produces the berries shown in the attached image?

I am 99.9% sure those are serviceberries. If I saw the whole tree, that would erase the doubt. I would tell you it is most definitely a serviceberry if that did not lead to you eating them - I just want to be 100% sure so you don't eat something bad. If you ate a small bite of one berry (actually cut it open first, to make sure the seeds are like blueberries, not one big seed) you would know. Serviceberries are sweet, not bitter (unless they are not ripe). Not super flavorful, but sweet. I still have a half of a pint left in the fridge that we picked off of the neighbors about a week and a half ago. Birds usually get to them pretty quickly.

Defiantly Serviceberry and very tasty indeed! Thanks!
