I changed the teeth on my Carlton SP 7015 from the standard 1/2" x 1/2" teeth to green teeth. They are ok, but seem to create more drag on the machine due to the increased cutting surface. Has anyone removed some of the teeth/pockets on this machine? If so. which ones would you recommend removing. Also pros and cons? Thanks

What size of GreenTeeth did you buy? I'm a GreenTeeth dealer in Georgia. The recommended size is 900's. The teeth below the main cutters are called clean outs. If you're going to remove any pockets and teeth, I would recommend the pockets closest to the cutter wheel shaft. If you purchased 1100's, those are too big.

Hope this helps!

I've got 900 series wear sharp. I tighten the drive belt up some per your advise, and she cutting a lot better. Might have tightened a little much, so backed off a turn with no slippage. Thanks for the help Dave.
