I run two different saws. I have a Stihl 290 and a Husky 365 with a 372xp head unit. I was getting ready to tune the saws up for the spring firewood cut and ran into a spark plug that I can't seem to find a replacement for. Can you guys help?

The markings on the plug say it's a Bosch plug R10 485. I have searched Baileys and didn't find it, and checked Google as well, again, no luck. Anyway, if anyone knows anything about this plug, please let me know. Thanks

Dont know bout the husky, but the stihl will be a rcj6y in champion colors, and wsr6f in bosch colors

I think Bosch plugs have there number stamped into the metal were you put the wrench on. I've always bought NGK so I'm not sure about the cross reference.

I see ARROW got in with his answer first.;)

The listing I have for both Husky 365 & 372 xp are Bosch WS7F & the husky listing for the 365 in CHAMPION CJ7Y Another poster said Champion No`s had changed

I scraped off some goo and found the following on the Bosch- WSR6F. Looking at the threads, it looks like the same spark plug as the NGK BPMR7A that came out of the Stihl. Are they compatible?

Same plug different heat range, also make sure you use a resistor plug

catalog #'s & resistor plugs

I believe in keeping a spare plug. I have NGK, Champion, & Bosch plugs
NIB. On the box they all have a catalog # & the heat range, length of thread & other info needed by end user # on the box and plug ceramic.

Examples:
RCJ7Y 859
BPMR7 4626
WSR6F 7547

resistor plugs: They may be needed to keep from frying ignition modules
in addition to RF suppression. Why take a chance? Plugs are cheaper,
easier to find, buy, and install than new coils (ignition modules).
