hello , i would like to know how many people have a 15 gt spiderlift? what kind of problems are you having? has any body had to change a wiring harness in side the boom because some wood or sticks have gotten inside the boom. i had wood get inside the boom and it broke my harness. the wood and wood chips get in where the upper boom slides in and out. i had a chunk of wood about 2 inches thick and 3 inches long that tore my wires when i would telescope in and out. the head(where the jib arm bolts to the upper boom) has a big hole in it where big pieces of wood can get in. very much a design flaw for tree work. spiderlift wants about 8 grand to change it for me. probably a 4 or 5 hundred dollar part maybe. i don't have that kind of money right now so i will tackle it myself. it took me about 3 days to complete the task. very well made machine but even though i fixed it, it will happen again if some more wood gets in again. now i have to figure out how to block the opening so no more sticks get inside the boom. check your machines for wood or anything else that might be inside that could cut the harness. please let me know if any of you have had problems with your machines. i would like to talk to you. thanks will
