Just wondering if anyone has used the new spiderwire throwline? It's 3mm which is good. seems like everything under 2mm always gets too tangled.

Hmm, I wonder who makes that line.

3mm is way too fat for me. I like the 1.75mm Zing-It.

Me too, but it does snag easily, even if in a cube...That's why I like the plastic reel that PSRopes small line came on. I cut off the upper reel edge and wind the throw line on. quick and easy, comes off smoothly most of the time.

I like a thin line when using my Big Shot...But for throwing,I can never get a good grip on it,so I keep some of that good ole' slickline for throwing.

I bought a brand new 150ft. hank of spiderwire last week, and after the first use,it got snagged on a limb one of my guys was dragging, and it was through the chipper before he even realized it.
