Just wondering if anyone has used the new spiderwire throwline? It's 3mm which is good. seems like everything under 2mm always gets too tangled.

just seems like anything smaller tends to get caught on everything possible. i have numerous storage bags. any suggestions?

Me too, but it does snag easily, even if in a cube...That's why I like the plastic reel that PSRopes small line came on. I cut off the upper reel edge and wind the throw line on. quick and easy, comes off smoothly most of the time.

Same size as plain ole slick line...yet way too expensive...

Heck, I get 1000 feet of ZI for about $100...

I like a thin line when using my Big Shot...But for throwing,I can never get a good grip on it,so I keep some of that good ole' slickline for throwing.

I bought a brand new 150ft. hank of spiderwire last week,and after the first use,it got snagged on a limb one of my guys was dragging,and it was through the chipper before he even realized it.
