Splicing 16 strand lines

For those of you splicers out there, I was wondering what your favorite 16 strand line is. Mainly for easy spliceability,,,any problems w/ any certain types,,,,I've only spliced safety blue,, It wasn't too bad...Didn't know if different brands might be easier b/c of tightness in the core or for whatever reason....
 
Oh, the easiest 16 strand by far is Buccanneer. They weave their rope very loose. All written instructions say to form the eye, count down 5 pics, then start the taper. I usually go about 8, just to be safe. When I am splicing Buccanneer I bury 12-15 sometimes before I start the taper. That is SOFT rope.

That being said, I've seen that NER Safety Blue and Samson Blue streak are the next easiest, followed by Hi-Vee and XTC tied for third as far as ease of splicing. But the harder-to-splice lines also are more wear-resistant. These tighter ropes tend to last longer.
