Hey Obama, if you want me to recover cut loose with some work! Wait, wait, I have maid a full recovery. Back to prehuman numbers in all forest stages from old to brand new reprod. So with that cut loose with work for everyone. If nothing else let them cut select that way they could improve the view from my tree. Mrs would like that and then I would recover even more.

I'd love to see these vast stands of hammer old growth, ripe and ready...they don't exist in the numbers or standards that we call old growth. Greenies see bar width trees and call em' ancient forests. The owl was a piss poor excuse to kill the timber industry. It's all about saving the mother, plain and simple. These people will stop at nothing to kill our livlihoods while wiping their arses, living in their homes and building their decks/fences. I find myself welcoming the role of a vilin to these people. I have almost quit defending logging- I try to avoid them altogether. I would rather save my words for a friend or pet. The most hipocritical people in the world are anti-logging.
 
By consistantly hammering away, and pointing out the hypocrasy(spell please)
in their rhetoric, I'm making slight inroads on the tree hugging site I go to.
It is funny, the mods let the huggers do name calling but if a pro-hunting or pro logging person does, the thread is locked or done away with. Those tree huggers get their feelings easily hurt. Easily, so I have to be gentle. Very very very gentle. Pointing out that for here, we have plenty of roads already in to log, that loggers fix roads so hikers can access trailheads...etc.

Some of them are dumber than a slug. Some of them can be reasoned with. Most are at the mercy of what they have learned in school or see on the news. If they even watch or read the news. Meanwhile, the groups with the loudest voice are closing down roads and the woods because they have the best lawyers. AND, they are starting to do things that affect the trails that the people on that other site use. Like closing them for wildlife winter range.

I can only wait and see what happens, and I'm not too optimistic. I have to feed the Used Dog....

1. I use Firefox web browser. When I type something like "hypocrasy", it gets underlined in red. Then I right click on the red underlined word, and it suggests I let it change the word to "hypocrisy". Helps out a lot when posting to internet forums.

2. Logging is like shooting. As long as it exists, the banners are the ones doing all the political agitating. The "education" and "news" outlet propaganda machines help out too, because the cause is seen as "progressive".
Once the total bans are in effect, there won't be any loggers or shooters left to complain.

Those who are having their rights eroded must go on the offensive and work to reclaim the rights that were already taken away. If the political rock only slides down the slippery slope without ever rolling back up, not even an inch, it is guaranteed to hit the bottom eventually.

As a kid growing up in the 60's & 70's I use to think he was crazy, not anymore.
They are really screwing things up.

Yes, subjective mods will destroy a site. I will not be going back to a certain dog forum when my temporary ban is over. If the owner is going to let ignorant, arrogant show breeders bash me and ban me when I reply in kind, the people coming there for help will do without a highly trained, experienced member.

:)You're right, that handle is a little obvious. Maybe Slowp can suggest something since she's already familiar with the site.
