Yes this is a rant !!!
Why don't they include the little spring that always flys away to the twilight zone to never be found again.?You know in those complete carb rebuild kits.

Be sure to look really carefully in the plastic package that the other parts came in. I found my new spring in the very corner of it that day. It seems the springs hide as well inside the shipping package as they do on the floor.

Good luck, and keep smiling.

Heck that was just the icing on the cake.
The day started when I tried to start a weedeater with deisel for premix instead of gas.
Funny thing is it started and smoked like mad.Not what I wanted to see out of my almost new fs55r.
It seems my boy filled up one of my gas cans with deisel so he could flush out a 4 wheeler motor......................

I think I'll just go have that beer or two:cheers:

Dropped many a spring and many pins ball bearings etc as well thats the fun part and usually it's on a day when you can't get a new one right away huh.

Zama kits include the spring; Walbro and Tillotson do not. There are so many different springs, it would be a real pain to have one kit for each saw... like Zama tries to do..

The spring, eh? How about the teeny li'l screen? One klutzy fumble, or a puff o' da cheeks, much less from a blower, and it's "Sayonara, babeeeeee" I have two 335 carbs in need of said item....
