Here is a pic of an 009, which is the same. If my memory is correct, the vent line goes over into the hole on the top right.

Fish is correct. The vent line goes into the hole on the right side of the carb case. If you look on the clutch side you'll see a small plate. If you remove it the line ends up there. The oem vent line comes with a foam tip that gets covered by the plate.
 
My basic strategy on generic fuel lines is to start with a length 2x longer than needed, and with a razor knife, slice the line lengthwise for several inches, reducing the fuel line's volume in half on the cut section, and feed that in the hole, and then there is enough in the tank to be able to grab with needle nose pliers or hemostats and pull the line on through, out the fuel cap hole, cut off the sliced section, install a new fuel filter, then pull the line back in the required distance, and trim the other side and attach to the carb.
You waste some fuel line, but will add years to your life....
