Another saw I don't really need that I figure I should offer here before I send it to eBay.

This was my grandfather's saw that he used around his suburban 2 acre lot. He didn't use it much - as you can see it still has its original Made in West Germany bar. I had the saw looked over last fall and after cleaning the muffler screen it runs and cuts. It takes five pulls to start cold, one or two when hot. Only known problem is the field-fixed spark plug wire that I soldered together over a decade ago when I was still a teenager. It still has the original bar. I've got an extra loop of Sabre chain for it, still in its box.

I'd be pleased to get $75 for it, but I'm open to offers.

Hey Brandon, you getting money together for the 660?

I wish.

Did you know that Dell wants $820 for a new motherboard for a Latitude C640? Well, since mine died Tuesday night, I now know that they do in fact want $820 for it. So there won't be any 660 on the way anytime soon - gotta buy a new computer first, since I use it for personal and work purposes.

I also sold my 290 + 6 chains, air filter, + carry case to my father-in-law. Still quite a ways to go, but I'm closer than I was yesterday...

Computeruser, you might check out Dell's outlet store online, http://www.dell.com/content/products/category.aspx/desktops?c=us&cs=22&l=en&s=dfh&~ck=mn

They have Certified Refurbished, Previously Ordered New, Scratch & Dent models. You should be able to get a good system for the price of that replacement mother board.

Thanks for the link. That isn't a bad idea, though it is time for a new one, anyway, so I'm not too heartbroken if I have to buy a new one. Plus I've been wanting to go Mac for a while and though I would have preferred to do it at my own pace...oh well.

And for all who are still PMing me, it is now official - the saw has been sold, paid-for, and will be shipped as soon as my wife leaves for work (so I don't have to move her car to get mine out).
