Stihl 012 av Questions

I have an opportunity to buy an older Stihl 012 av. However, I really don't "need" it, but I can buy it for less than 100 bucks, but I don't hear much about them. I am sure that someone on this site has a wealth of information and history on Stihl saws. What advise do you have for this saw? Also, what site do you recommend to obtain details on all Stihl saws, including model descriptions, owners manuals, parts availability, etc?

It has been very interesting hanging out here--- I have learned much! Thanks in advance!
