Does anyone know if one of the 42.5mm pistons run in the original 42mm Stihl 025 cylinders?

Does anyone know if one of the 42.5mm pistons run in the original 42mm Stihl 025 cylinders?

Never tried it- but my gut says NO.
Its all that heat and dissimilar metals expanding a different rates because of said heat kind of thing.
Even if you could shoehorn the 42.5 with rings into the 42mm cylinder, how long before it welds itself together? Or the out of round rings catch a port?

I installed one of the China-made 021/023 MS210/230 replacement engines for about 30 bucks in a busted MS230. Easy and super fast replacement. Runs OK.

it will not even go into bore of cylinder.
