Yeah, putting a saw together for a friend. It had a 42 mm that was scored so now I'm looking for a good oem cylinder that I can get a piston for

I've had 2 44mm 028's and both had helicoils in the plug hole. I think I remember hearing that stihl did it at the factory on a few models.

Btw anyone ever seen an old stihl serial number card? I just found the one from one of those 028's the other day. Only one I have ever seen.

I need a good sprocket, without a deep grove and every thing under it to turn my oil pump which if I remember correctly is the plastic gear over the spur + 1 that goes into the oil pump if you have that 1 ? May need the big snap ring + the large washer that goes against the clutch also. If I could see the condition of the spurs on the best sprocket I'd make an offer or just give me a price and description of the spur if you would. I am in northern IN at 47957.
