I am selling my Stihl 029 super and Stihl 028 super.
Both have a 18 inch bar and .325 chain.
Both are in great shape and run great.
I am asking $250 for the 029 and $200 for the 028.

Call 610-587-5608.

Shipping will be actual cost.

I will post pictures later today

So I got an offer locally of $300.00 for both. Is that decent? I see some of these for close to that each?

$250 for the 029 Super is a tad steep. I see 290/029Supers sell for $200 locally. People ask $300 for them and they sit for a while. The 028 depends on the condition, but its an older design.

I'm open to taking offers. But don't want to give them away. The 028 is in real nice shape. I can post pictures when I get home.

If you're looking for opinions I would say you should happy with $350 for the pair. Around here the 029 Super would fetch $225 on a good day, and the 028 Super should be around $175 if you can find the right buyer. My rule is $25 off per saw for a package deal which puts you at $350 for the pair.

I recently sold an 028 super and 029 super on CL for $200 each... That seems to be top of the mark around here and I was happy with that. Tried selling a ms290 for $225 and sat on it awhile. I personally might come down to $175 each local. eBay would bring more, but with 9% final value fee, 3% PP fee, plus possible listing fee, it evens back out. And you have to worry about the buyer burning up the saw and forcing a return with eBay.

Thanks. I have some people interested. But we'll see.

Looks like a solid $200 and shipping if I were pricing it. If I didn't have one I'd be tempted. Good saw.

Yeah. I should! I am going to get another saw. Just trying to decide if the 600 is worth the extra cash.
